Dharvedi

Dharvedi is a vigorous religious dance performed at the time of Jagaras or Shant, and during the Dussehra season in Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. This depicts scenes of valor or piety. The dancers often move in circles, lie down on the ground suddenly or stike various poses including that of a stupa (tower). Dharvedi is very similar to Droondu dance.
