Barasloia

Barasloia is located in Simdega District of Jharkhand. It lies on the banks of the South Koel River and 50 km east of Simdega.

Gumla is around 45 km north-west. Somatoli is the nearest town, which is 2 km to the east. About 25 km north of Barasloia is Palkot with prominent tourist spots like Malmalpur and Shitalpur Caves, Palkot Wildlife Sanctuary, Palkot Hills and Gobarsilli Rock.

Ranchi is around 87 km north-east. Ranchi Airport is the nearest airport. Bano Railway Station on Ranchi-Bisra rail route is the closest railhead.
