Banskupi




Banskupi is a beautiful hamlet in Deoghar District of Jharkhand. It is situated on the district border and is noted for its serene atmosphere. Madhupur is the nearest major town and is easily accessible from here. River Jainti (Jayanti), a rivulet proceeding to join the Ajay, flows nearby.

Banbariya, Ghagharjor, Pathraul, Rampur, Tharhi and Manikpur are the nearby localities. Tilpara Barrage, Maluti, Basukinath Temple, Chandrakoopa Well, Harila Joria, Sivaganga Lake and Deoghar Archeological Museum are the major tourist attractions around this place.

One of the prominent stations of the Eastern Railways, Madhupur Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. Ranchi Airport serves this area.
