Chhonapur

Located in Hooghly District of West Bengal, Chhonapur is around 42 km north-west of Howrah. Towards the west of this town lies Champadanga. Magra to the north, Mora to the east and Kuliara to the south are other towns nearby.

From here tourist destinations such as Tarakeshwar, famous for its Tarakeshwar Temple, Jangipara, Chinsurah, Chandannagar and Arambagh can be visited.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Kamarkundu Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station.
