Thirumazhisai is a suburb of
Chennai, on the way to
Kanchipuram.
Thirumazhisai Azhwar, one of the twelve Alwars, was born here. This is a temple town with temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.
This historical town is about 25 km from Chennai and is one km off the Chennai-Bangalore trunk road.
