Pandian Express



Pandian Express (also spelt Pandiyan Express) runs between Chennai Egmore Railway Station and Madurai Junction Railway Station. Both stations are located in Tamil Nadu. (The name of the train commemmorates the 10th-13th century Pandian Kingdom of Tamil Nadu). Main towns on the way are Chengalpattu, Virudhachalam, Ariyalur, Tiruchirapalli, Dindigul and Kodaikanal. The train operates daily and covers a distance of 497 km. First A/C, second A/C, first class, third A/C and sleeper class coaches are available.

Train number 2637: Chennai to Madurai, leaves Chennai at 21:30 hrs.
Train number 2638: Madurai to Chennai, leaves Madurai at 20:30 hrs.
