Dhandra




Dhandra is a town in Maharashtra, located on the banks of the Painganga River, right on Yavatmal District’s south-eastern border with Adilabad District of Andhra Pradesh. It is just a few kilometers from the district’s boundary with Chandrapur District. Dhandra is about 10 km west of Hirapur and 25 km from Bori.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are wildlife resorts to visit while in Dhandra. Chintamani of Kalamb and Sahstrakund Waterfalls are other places of tourist interest.

Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary, Pranahita Wildlife Sanctuary and Sivaram Wildlife Sanctuary are wildlife sanctums in Adilabad District, within easy access from Dhandra.
