Sidhi District




Sidhi District is located in the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh. It is also known as the north-eastern frontier of the state. The total geographic area covers 10,526 sq km with a population of almost two million. Sidhi is noted for its natural resources.

The Son and Gopad are the main rivers. Sanjay-Dubri Wildlife Sanctuary, Mara Caves and Govindgarh are the main tourist destinations. Some of the important places are Majholi, Rampur, Singrauli, Kusmi, Deosar, Sinhawal and Chitrangi.
