Karikkakam

Karikkakam is a residential locale in Thiruvananthapuram city of Kerala. It lies around 2 km from Chackai and 7 km west of East Fort.

The place is famous for Sri Chamundi Temple, a highly revered shrine dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. The annual pongal festival celebrated here attracts thousands of devotees from far and near.

Regular buses connect Karikkakam with East Fort. The major train station close to this area is Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport.
