Hariharpur




Hariharpur is a small town situated around 20 km east of Deoghar, the headquarters of Deoghar District. It lies in the western side of Dumka District, close to its border with Deoghar District. Prominent places in the neighbourhood include Thari Sonarai, Jaypur, Sareya and Sarawan. Jarmundi, noted for the Basukinath Temple, is within a short drive. The closest railhead is Jasidih Junction Railway Station, in Deoghar District. The place can be accessed by Gaya Airport and Patna Airport. Giridih is around 65 km to the east and Dhanbad is about 80 km to the south.
