Lawajoda Temple




Lawajoda Temple, 9 km from Patamda in East Singhbhum District, attracts a large number of archeological enthusiasts.

Sculptures belonging to the 9th and 10th centuries in Lawajoda and its adjacent villages are the major attractions. The highlight among them is a mythological character driving an elephant. Religious as well as mythological significance is attributed to the place by natives.
