Harihar Dham

Harihar Dham, on the main G T Road, is a small hamlet near Bagodar in Giridih District and is located 60 km south-west of Giridih.

The major attraction here is a temple in the shape of a Shivling (65 ft high), which is the largest of its kind in the country. It is believed that it took more than 30 years to construct this massive structure.

A large number of devotees assemble here during Shravan Poornima.
