Garu

The town of Garu is situated in Latehar District of Jharkhand. It is about 33 km west of Latehar, the district headquarters.

Mirchaiya Waterfalls is 3 km from Garu. Another attraction is a hot water spring, Tataha Pani, near Barwadih. Betla National Park is another point of interest near Garu.

The state capital, Ranchi is around 128 km south-east. Nearest airport is Ranchi Airport. Barwadih Junction Railway Station and Latehar Railway Station are the nearby railheads.
