Deoghar Bus Station is a few minutes walk from the Baidyanath Dham Railway Station, which is on Howrah-Patna railway line. The bus station operates numerous services to all major towns and cities in the state. Buses ply from Deoghar to Giridih, Dumka,
Madhupur and Shimultala. Long distance buses are available to Hazaribagh, Ranchi, Tatanagar, Gaya and Bhagalpur.
Places of tourist interest are the Baidyanath Temple, Deoghar Archaeological Museum, Chandrakoopa Well, Harila Joria and Sivaganga Lake.
Local travel is by means of taxis, scooters and cycle-rickshaws.
