Hanupatta is a small town in Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir. The place is characterised by steep and barren hills, which mark most of the terrain. Hanupatta is a good campsite for the climbers and mountaineers who are on their way to Lamayuru from Wanla. Sudmo lies to the south of Hanupatta.
