National Highway 59




National Highway 59 connects the economic hub of Gujarat, Ahmedabad, with the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore. This 350 km-long road spans across the districts of Ahmedabad, Kheda, Panchmahals and Dahod in Gujarat and Jhabua, Dhar and Indore in Madhya Pradesh.

National Highway 59 starts at Ahmedabad and runs eastwards through Mahemdabad, Godhra, Ant Road and Piplod to enter Madhya Pradesh past Dahod. The highway is 221 km long in Gujarat.

In Madhya Pradesh, Jhabua is the first major settlement one would come across while traveling along the National Highway 59. Beyond Jhabua, the highway continues its way east through Sardarpur, Dhar and Betma, before terminating at Indore. National Highway 59 has a total length of 139 km in Madhya Pradesh.

Sardarpur Sanctuary is located along the highway, in the Dhar District of Madhya Pradesh.
