Bardoli


Bardoli is a historic place situated 34 km east of Surat, Gujarat. It is the place where Mahatma Gandhi had launched the 'Bardoli Satyagrah' (a great farmers’ movement) under the leadership of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.

Major point of attraction is the Swaraj Ashram.

The nearest airport is at Surat, 18 km south-west of Surat. Bardoli Railway Station is on the Surat-Jalgaon line. National Highway 6 passes through Bardoli.
