Diglipur, is situated on the
North Andaman Island, about 180 km by boat from Port Blair. It is renowned for its oranges, rice and the marine life around. Kalpong, the only river in Andaman flows here and the highest peak of the islands, Saddle Peak (732 metres) is also situated nearby. The enchanting beauty of simple, village life can be experienced here. There is a Water Sports Centre here for recreation. There are several alluring beaches and bays. For those adventurous of mind, trekking equipments can be hired at the Turtle Resort for trekking on Saddle Peak.
