Husainabad

Husainabad, a taluk headquarters town, is situated in the northern parts of Palmau District, near its border with Bihar, in Jharkhand. Daltonganj, the district headquarters, is around 60 km south.

Major attraction nearby is the 39 ft Kund Waterfall. Betla National Park and Netarhat constitute interesting excursions outside Husainabad.

Patna is around 165 km north and the state capital, Ranchi is around 205 km south-east. Nearest airport is at Varanasi. Husainabad Railway Station is on the Daltonganj-Gaya line.
