Zinzuwada

Zinzuwada is located in northern part of Surendranagar District in Gujarat. It is a fortified town and lies at the southern edge of the little Rann of Kutch. It is around 80 km north of Surendranagar.

It was a fortified town of the Solanki rulers from the 11th century AD. Zinzuwada is one of the finest examples of Hindu fortifications. The town has four gateways, which are noted for its carvings and sculptures.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is the nearest airport. Viramgam Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
