Yudhishtira Temple

Rising abruptly from the ground level, Yudhishtira Temple is a temple built in the triratha style and is on the other side of the flat top of the Mahendragiri hill. The lintel of the door bears an inscription of the Chola king, Rajendra Chola. The sculptural decorations are found only in its four Chaitya arches. The temple is easily accessible from Paralakhemundi, 40 km from Palasa in Andhra Pradesh. Mahendragiri hill is 75 km from Berhampur. The nearest railhead Palasa is on the Howrah-Chennai rail route.
