Yogadhyan Badri Temple




Yogadhyan Badri Temple is situated in a tiny hamlet at Pandukeshwar on Rishikesh-Badrinath highway. It is one of the five badris placed at an altitude of 1,920 m. The temple is dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. According to the belief, Pandu, father of the Pandavas, meditated here and was blessed by Vishnu for his penance. The place got its name from this incident.

Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airstrip. The nearest railhead is at Rishikesh (297 km.) Local attractions include Sapt Panth, Mata Murti Temple, Mana Village and Alka Puri.
