Yatokthakkari Temple is situated at Tiruvekka in
Kanchipuram District,
Tamil Nadu. The main deity of the temple is
Lord Vishnu in the form of Yatokthakkari (Sonnavannam Seida Perumal). Facing east, the deity is seen in reclining pose. There is a separate shrine for Komalavalli Naachiyaar. The temple celebrates the birthday of Poigaialwar in the Tamil month of Aippasi (October-November). The main festival is the Vaikunda Ekadasi which lasts for 22 days in the Tamil month of Marghazhi (December-January). The temple can be easily approached from all parts of
Kanchipuram.
