Yanam Library is located on the High School Road of
Yanam, about 25 km from
Kakinada. Established in 1963, this library functions under the Department of Art and Culture of the Pondicherry Government.
Yanam Library houses about twenty four thousand books, including various reference books. Various magazines related to various subjects, in different languages are also made available. Separate sections are provided for education, philosophy and science. A special reading room is available for children, where around seven thousand books are meant exclusively for them. Yanam Library is visited by around 500 people daily.
Kakinada Town Railway Station is the nearest railhead (26 km).
