Yamunotri Pass is situated at a height of about 5172 m, in
Uttarkashi District of
Uttaranchal. The pass is located 12 km from
Yamunotri, which is the source of river
Yamuna. The pass is an ideal base for trekking and the trek mainly leads through dense forests. There is a good view of Bandarpunch and
Swargarohini peaks from the pass. The
Ruinsara Lake is a nearby attraction.
