Windarra Pannae is situated in the Green Belt at
Auroville in
Pondicherry. The word 'windarra' means place to live and 'Pannae' means farm. It is spread over an area of 22 acres between Alankupam and
Kottakarai villages.
The farm has a fruit orchid, dairy farm and various forest trees. The farm cultivates peanuts, indigenous grains, legumes and green manure crops. Visitors can directly purchase fruit and vegetable items from the farm.
Accommodation facilities are also available. The nearest railway station is Pondicherry Railway Station.
