Manipal, Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA) was established in 1986 as a unit of Dr T M A Pai Foundation. It has linkages with international institutes of repute and transfer agreements with select universities in the USA and Switzerland. WGSHA is affiliated to
Manipal Academy of Higher Education and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.
WGSHA offers courses such as Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Integrated BHM - MBA Program and Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics. The training is given in Hotel Valley View International. There are seven centrally air-conditioned classrooms with latest teaching aids like LCD projectors, direct projectors, VCR and OHP.
Other facilities include library, lab kitchen/bakery, language lab, sports facilities, computer room, audio-visual room, mock bar and restaurant, and mock room. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls.
