Water Catchment Sanctuary




Water Catchment Sanctuary is situated adjacent to National Highway 22 and immediately north of Kufri, which lies about 12 km east of Shimla.

This sanctuary is home to rhesus macaque, common langur, yellow-throated marten, leopard, Indian muntjac, goral, porcupine and flying squirrel.

It is connected by a forest corridor to Chail Sanctuary in the south.
