Vrishabanatha temple




Vrishabanatha Temple, dedicated to Bhagwan Vrishabanatha, is located at Chickkahanasoge in Mysore District. It was constructed in 11th century by Chengalva commander-in-chief of Rajendra chola. The temple is a combination of both Chalukya and Hoysala style of architecture.

There are idols of Trikutachala Adinath on the west, Shanthinath on the south and Sri Neminath on the north. The temple is decorated with florid carvings along with yakshas, yakshis and lions.
