Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave is situated at
Vizhinjam, 17 km from
Thiruvananthapuram city. It has 18th century rock cut sculptures. The granite cave encloses a one-celled shrine with a loose sculpture of Vinandhara Dakshnimurthi. The outer wall of the cave portrays half complete sculptures of the Hindu God
Shiva and his wife Goddess
Parvati.
