Vishuvilakkutsavam is a popular festival held at Palotukavu Temple, about 6 km from Kannur in Kerala. It falls on the Malayalam month of
Medam (April-May) and lasts for eight days. Theyyam is performed on every morning and night of the festival. Besides, different forms of Theyyam such as Daivathareeswaran, Kurathi, Kundora Chamundy, Nellorthy, Pothy and Angakaram are staged on the concluding day.
