Virpur is a small town in the
Rajkot District of
Gujarat. Situated in the south-weastern part of the district, it is around 38 km south of
Rajkot - one of the major industrial cities in the state. Agriculture is the mainstay of the people.
There is a temple dedicated to Saint Jalaram. This temple attracts thousands of pilgrims from far and near. Gondal is situated on the way to Virpur from Rajkot.
