Virasangilimatam

Virasangilimatam, in Ramanathapuram District, is a coastal region between Tondi and Tiruppalakkudi. Tondi is 7 km north and Tiruppalakkuddi is 15 km south. Soliyakudi and Nambuthalai are only a short distance from Virasangilimatam. Tiruvaadaanai Temple, Tondi Vinayaka Temple, Patham Priya Koil at Thiruvetriyur and Veyulugantha Vinayagar Temple at Uppoor are easily accessible from here. Madurai Airport is the nearest airport and Ramanathapuram Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Madurai is 100 km towards the west. The place can be reached from Ramanathapuram, Rajasingamangalam (15 km west) and Tiruvadanai.
