Vijora is en route from
Umerkhed to Mahagaon, a few kilometers past Sukali, in the southern part of
Yavatmal District. It is located 12 km south of Mahagaon and about 9 km from
Morath. Hadgaon in
Nanded District is 22 km south of Vijora.
Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Sahastrakund Waterfalls are major tourist destinations in the immediate neighborhood. Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is the other wildlife sanctum in the district, which is a popular haunt amongst nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Shri Ranganath Swami Temple at Wani, Chintamani of Kalamb and Mahadeo Temple at Moho village are pilgrim sites around.
