Vijayarathotsav is a chariot festival celebrated at the Mahalasa Temple of Mohini in
Ponda, the place which is considered as the heart of
Hinduism in
Goa. The festival is also known as Mahalasa Jatra. It is held in the month Magh (January-February), amid much pomp and splendor.
