The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There are separate shrines for Lord Ganesh, Sree Dharma Sastha and Nagaraja. The major festival of Vevila temple lasts for 4 days and is celebrated in January. A grand procession is arranged on the final day of the festival. Nemom Sree Mahadeva Temple, Nemom Ganapathi Temple, Sree Krishna Swami Temple are the other shrines nearby.
