Vepanapalli, also spelt Veppanappalle, is a small town situated 15 km north of Krishnagiri, in Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu. Situated at an elevation of 1,961 ft, the town is surrounded by Maharajakadai (11 km) in the south-east, Sulagiri (18 km) in the south-west and Berikai in the north-west. Bangalore, the Garden City of India, is about 63 km away. Nearby tourist spots include Krishnagiri Fort, Krishnagiri Dam, Government Museum, Rayakottah Fort, Vainu Bappu Observatory at Kavalur, Hogenakkal Waterfalls and Tillany Fine Arts Museum and Gallery at Hosur. Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport. Vepanapalli is connected to Krishnagiri by road.
