Venkanna Festival is one of the popular events of
Yanam in
Pondicherry. It falls during the month of March, and lasts for a month.
Lord Venkateswara Kalyanam is the main day of the festival. Ponnavahanam, Radhayatra and Chakrateertham are other the important events associated with it.
People, in large number, come here during this festival to pay their homage to Lord Venkanna Babu.
