Located 3 km away from Chemmalamattom, Vengathanam is a tourist destination in Idukki District. The main attraction of the place is the Vengathanam Waterfall.

Vengathanam can be approached on Kanjirappally - Erattupetta route. The other route is from Erattupetta via Poonjar. The nearest railway station is at Kottayam and the airport is Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery in Ernakulam.
