Vengara




Vengara is a picturesque village located in Malappuram District. This tourist destination is lulled by the Arabian Sea and protected by the hillock of Ezhimala, now famous for the Naval Academy. Vengara got its name from the word 'Ven Kara', literally meaning the 'white land' created by moving sea. Vengara is famous for Theyyams, a famous art form of Kerala.
