The Vellikeni Temple is situated at
Chennai in
Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to
Lord Venkata Krishnan. The deity is seen standing with his wife
Rukmini Piratiyar. His brothers Balarama and Sathaki stand to his right and left respectively. The idols of his son Prathyumnan and grandson Aniruthan are also placed near him.
This is one of the rare temples where the deity is placed along with three generations of his family.
