Velacherry Devi Temple is one of the oldest shrines of Devi, located at Manjoor
Kottayam District of
Kerala. The presiding deity here is Rudhiramala Devi.
Lord Shiva and
Lord Ayyappa are also worshipped.
Thousands of devotees throng during Prathishatadina Festival, which is held annually at the temple in the month of May. Pathamudayam and Ayilliya Puja festivals are also celebrated here.
Manjoor is about 25 km from Kottayam. Kuruppanthara Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
