Veerapura Jain Temple is located at
Veerapura in
Dharwad District. The main deity is the white stone idol of
Vardhaman Mahavir in the
padmasana posture.
There are also idol of Chavisa Tirthankar made of Panchaloha, and idols of Daraneendra Yaksha and Padmavathi Yakshi are seen inside the temple sanctum. The walls of the temple are decorated with ancient inscriptions.
The temple is easily accessible from Dharwad.
