Veerapandi




Situated on the foothills of the Western Ghats, Veerapandi is a picturesque hamlet about 12 km from Tirupur, in Tamil Nadu. Covering an area of about 10 sq km, the village is on the Tirupur-Palladam road. Noyyal River, a tributary of the Cauvery River, flows through the village. Thoddarayappan Temple is the prime attraction. Palladam, Andipalayam, Mungilpallam, Vellamadai, Perianaickenpalayam and Iduvai are nearby places. One large knitwear factory along with its dyeing and bleaching units and two other small units are located here. Nearest airport is the C A Coimbatore Airport and the nearest railway station is Tiruppur Railway Station.
