Established in 1981, Vechaar Utensils Museum is housed within
Vishalla, a restaurant, in
Ahmedabad.
It showcases over 3500 utensils from all parts of India. Storage jars, cooking utensils, feeding cups for infants and tantric havan kunds are among the collections. Also displayed are pottery, terracotta and wooden articles. All these articles reflect the craftsmanship and rich heritage of the country.
The museum is open from 11:00 hrs to 23:30 hrs.
