Vav




Vav is a village in Banaskantha District of Gujarat. It is bounded by Asara (13 km) in the west, Dhima (11 km) in the north and Madka (7 km) in the south. The prime attraction of this village is the Vav Teerth, built in the 13th century and devoted to the second Tirthankar Ajitnath. Vav is also well linked with Tharad, where tourists can visit Shri Tharad Teerth. Vav village is situated about 30 km from the Pakistan border.
