Variguntapadu




Variguntapadu, also spelled Variguntapadur, is a small town in Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh. It lies midway between Duttaluru and Pamuru. Nellore, the district headquarters, is 86 km south.

Udayagiri, about 17 km from Variguntapadu, is famed for the ruins of a huge fort built by Vijayanagar kings and temples built during the Pallava and Chola period.

Tirupati Airport is the nearest airport. Kavali Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
