Varang Teerth

Varang Teerth is situated outside the village of Varang, in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka. The temple is dedicated to the Jain god Bhagwan Parshwanath.

The striking feature of Varang Teerth is that its tower is similar in style to the towers of temples in Nepal. Since the temple is located in the center of a lake, it is known as the Jalmandir (water temple) of South India. Friday is the day of special prayers at this temple. The temple is managed by a trust called Shri Digambar Jain Mandir Trust.
