Varaha Mandapam

Varaha Mandapam is one of the eight mandapams located at Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram). It is a finished gem of Pallava art. The mandapam contains scenes of Lord Vishnu (incarnated as varaha) lifting Bhoomi Devi (Mother Earth) from under the ocean.
