Vanasthali Rural Development Centre

Established in 1981, Vanasthali Rural Development Centre (VRDC) is a non-governmental voluntary organization that promotes education in Maharashtra. It is based at Shivaji Nagar in Pune.

The organization conducts advance training camps two times a year. It assists its members in buying bicycles, scooters as well as sewing machines. A six-month training, which includes child psychology, crafts, games and songs, is available for village women. Camps are conducted for age groups of six to twelve. Helping orphans at the orphanages and donations for people suffering from natural calamities are the other activities.
